I’m absolutely convinced that the only way to be victorious over the anxiety and stress this world naturally brings is to look with intention at the Word of God for a biblical definition of peace.
In 2023, I’m making a pledge to stop trying to stuff a worldly definition of peace into a biblical one. Instead, I want to allow what the Bible says about what peace truly is, and where mine comes from, to change the way I see the world.
Jesus warned in John 16:33 that His followers could expect to have trouble in this life. In other words, we have to stop being surprised when circumstances, relationships, and even our life’s mission doesn’t go the way we planned. Life is going to present us with challenges, disappointments, and even break our hearts at times, but the good news is that Jesus left us His peace. Not peace like the world gives. Peace that surpasses our ability to understand where it came from.
But what does that kind of peace look like? What does it feel like?
And how is a believer in Jesus supposed to access it “at all times in every way…” (2 Thessalonians 3:16)? Tune in to the podcast to learn more about our Million Praying Moms challenge for 2023…
Start with Peace
Join me, and the Million Praying Moms family, this January in a study that will help you get to the bottom of true, biblical peace.
Inside of Everyday Prayers for Peace, the devotional prayer journal we’ll be using for Start with Peace, I handpicked 30 truths from God’s Word about peace, and offered stories from my own life and deep dives into biblical context and story, punctuating each day with prayer as the means to fully integrate a biblical understanding of peace in our hearts. Each day’s devotion is quick enough to read over coffee in the morning, during naptime, in the carpool line, or just before bed…but they’re meaty enough to set a pattern for peace that will last a lifetime.
God can give you daily victory over stress and anxiety. But you have to choose it.
Start now by choosing to be a part of this movement toward a more peace-filled 2023.

Here’s the Master Schedule
We’re so excited about the possible implications of this journey together, friends! I simply can’t think of a better way to start 2023 than with a group of friends who understand who are seeking the peace of God together! See you there!
Hi there!
I was just reading about the PJJ and I was wondering what time the devotional will take place. I didn’t see a specific time or maybe I missed it because I’m tired, lol!
If you could let me know the time of day you would be meeting at, that would be great!
Thank you!
Jen
Hey Jen, thanks for asking! We haven’t worked out those exact details yet, but my guess is that the discussion posts for each day will go live in the morning (EST). We will be going live in the group 1-2 times a week as well, and those will probably take place during the lunch hour (EST). All that said, everything will be there in the FB group when you’re ready for it, whether you get to participate live or not. Hope this helps!
It will an awesome month of Joy
I’m excited about this prayer club, however I no longer am on fb. That’s one of those vices the Lord has called me to let go of and I’ve been fb free since October 31, 2021 and have no intentions of returning. I know this is a fb ran group, but I’m wondering if you will be sending info via email as well? I’ve also thought about hosting my own prayer club here at my home for close friends and family so I will be connected with others that way and I know we can all use it here locally. I actually found you on the you version app. And did your 5 day devotional when i was very sick for the whole month of January and it’s what pulled me through. Thank you for sharing this JOY with us.
Hey Spring! I think this is a GREAT idea, and you’re not the only person who has decided to host a prayer club in their own home. I’m going to try to pull together some ideas for those who want to do that and post them here on the blog within the next week or so. Watch for it please!
Hi !! I would love to be part of the prayer group but unfortunately I am not on Facebook . Will it be available in any other place? I love the book❤️❤️ I also did the Bible app devotional loved it 🙏🏻❤️❤️
Not right now, Ana, and I apologize. I know some people hate FB, but it continues to be one of the best places to create online community. If this changes in the future, we’ll make an announcement!
So am I understanding that we cannot participate unless we are on Fb? If that is the case then I will not be able to participate…please let me know as I would love to be involved. Thank you
For right now, that’s correct. Facebook remains the best way we can create community where we can grow together and get to know each other. This Prayer Club is just that…a club. It isn’t meant to be done individually. We hope you’ll join us sometimes in the future!
