Hard Prayer Tip #4 (Refuse to Give Up)

APPLE PODCASTS    †     SPOTIFY

Every Friday in April, to round out our ongoing conversations about prayer and motherhood through the teenage years, Stacey Thacker and I will be offering Hard Prayer Tips on the Everyday Prayers Podcast. These are not going to be simple, trite, or Pollyanna type tips. They’re actually meant to sustain you when it feels like everything is falling apart. Parenting teens can be a bit of an emotional roller coaster. One second you’re so proud you could fly, and the next you’re in the deepest pit, wondering if anything you sacrificed for is going to matter. Stacey and I have found the prayer tips we’ll be sharing with you on Fridays this month to be sustaining, life-giving, God-honoring and Gospel-centered. They’ve given us our breath back when it got sucked away, and helped us put one foot in front of the other when all we wanted to do was sit and cry. If you need prayer tips that meet you in the midst of the messiness of raising teens, these are for you. Open up the podcast in your podcast app and leave restored with hope.
