Nearly three decades later, I can still remember the heavens gates and hell flames play I attended at church. The flickering lights, eerie music, and impassioned actors created a vivid representation of the vast difference between the two eternal realities of heaven and hell. Watching from the pew, fear swept over me and brought me to my knees. With my head bowed and tears stinging in my eyes, I prayed for God to save me. Coming to know God as my savior was the beginning of my faith journey.
