A Prayer to Believe God is Good

My husband works hard to provide for our family, but because we had chosen for me to be a stay at home mom in that season, finances could sometimes be tight. We always had enough to eat and enough clothing to wear, but three large necessary appliances breaking down in the same week was enough to make anyone question whether or not God is paying attention. I knew my husband was feeling the crushing weight of our finances just as much, if not more than I was. And that day, more than anything else, he needed me to give him hope. But how could I give my husband hope when I was fighting so hard for it myself?

Today’s devotion and prayer is taken from the book, The Hope for the Weary Mom 40-Day Devotional, by Brooke McGlothlin and Stacey Thacker.
