Our son has always been willing to take the dog outside to do her business, but recently we started noticing that the dog was having frequent accidents in the house. We asked our son if he was waiting for her to actually go when he took her out, and he responded with downcast eyes, “No, I don’t want to wait for her to go, so I usually pretend like I’m taking her out, but just come right back in.”

While we were grateful for his honest response, it showed a lack of integrity in his heart. His self-focus was negatively affecting our entire family as well as our dog.

Have you sought to live with integrity? Have you experienced the blessing of walking securely? Or do you live in fear of being found out? Listen to today’s podcast episode from Becky Daye based on Proverbs 10:9.
