How often do we stand before our little ones and children admitting our weaknesses and asking for God’s help. I’ll be honest, I’d rather hide the hard stuff from my kids. I want to protect them. I want them to see smiles and success more than struggles and shame. But the problem with presenting the Christian life as only mountaintop experiences and no valleys is that when our children face their own valleys, they may believe God has abandoned them.
