APPLE PODCASTS † SPOTIFY
When our girls were young, I often wondered whether the small tasks of mothering meant anything. I had moved from a successful news career to a life as a farmwife and stay-at-home mom. Life was a series of nighttime wake-ups, unending nursing sessions, picture books read and reread, and applesauce scooped onto Dora the Explorer lunch plates. It all felt so mundane. I wish I could have had a crystal ball to see how my faithfulness in the little moments would matter so much.
Today’s devotion and prayer is inspired by the book, Growing Slow: Lessons on Un-Hurrying Your Heart from an Accidental Farm Girl, by Jennifer Dukes Lee.
