Identity is a hot topic nowadays. Where are we and our kids to turn for direction and answers? Where are we to turn for truth? God’s Word.
No matter what questions may come up now or in the future, the principles and truths in God’s Word stand firm forever. We can trust what He says about who our kids are and where their worth comes from. We can point them to God when this world tempts them to question who they are at every turn. When we point them to God and His Word, we’re laying a foundation that will last them throughout their lifetime.
And that is the most important thing. Identity is the hot topic today, but twenty years from now there will be another. We want our kids to always know where to turn for truth no matter what questions may arise during their lifetime.

Father, may our children know that you love them and rejoice over them with joyful songs. May the truth of your love and the music of your song drown out the other voices in their lives.
