How will things change when our children leave our homes? And how can we begin to prepare for those changes now, before they even happen?
Joining us today is author, speaker, and mom, Erica Wiggenhorn. Launching a child is EMOTIONAL… It can bring so much joy, but it can also bring fear, anxiety, tons of choices that bring with them pressure to make the right ones. On today’s show, Erica is going to shepherd our hearts through some of the things we’ll want to be prepared for, because things WILL change…we can’t, and shouldn’t try to change that…but we can lean into it, be prepared for it, and navigate it with grace.
Tune in now and get fantastic wisdom from a mom who understands!
Today’s show is brought to you by our newest Prayer Guide, Praying God’s Word for Your Child to Launch, by Gina L Smith.
Whether your child is graduating, headed to school for the first time, the last time, or any time in-between, starting a career, marriage, or family, your desire is for them to launch well. Everything you’ve done has been an effort to point them in the right direction, and set in motion the ability to make right choices, take right paths, and be righteous before God.
But there comes a time when prayer is the best action you can take. Join me today as we pray God’s powerful Word back to Him on behalf of our children using key verses and passages that speak to the idea of launching into the next season, whatever it is, well. Learn more here.

I don’t have young children or teenagers as I’m sure there are many moms in that season that belong to this group
While this episode on adult children was good. But it would have been great to hear from a mom with several grown children and also who has prodigals.
Hi Sherry! Next week’s episode is called Everyday Prayers for Adult Children, and while we don’t have any moms of prodigals on that episode, you might still find it useful. You might also enjoy listening to episode #48, When You Love a Prodigal, with Judy Douglas. Here’s a link: https://www.millionprayingmoms.com/048-when-you-love-a-prodigal/
