Here’s what I know about prayer:
Introducing Fall 2022 Prayer Club.
Beginning on October 3rd, we will begin our next gathering of Prayer Club, called Just Go in Their Rooms.
For 30 days, we’re going to pray through our newest prayer journal, Everyday Prayers for the School Year, together, checking in daily in a special Facebook group just for like-minded praying moms. What makes this Prayer Club special is that we’re encouraging you to go into your child’s room to pray each day. There’s just something so special about laying hands on their bed, or chair, or even gaming console, as you ask God to lead and protect them.
A Note on the Prayer Journal
Everyday Prayers for the School Year is intentionally written for moms of every educational choice. Regardless of how your family schools, you can benefit from this prayer journal, and being a part of Prayer Club. Bonus? Everyone who purchases their copy and signs up for Prayer Club will get a free prayer calendar that includes all the prayers from inside the book in PDF form. You can print it out and hang it on your fridge, make it your computer background, or save it on your phone for use on-the-go!
How to Sign Up for Prayer Club
Easy.
- Order your copy of Everyday Prayers for the School Year.
- Fill out this form. You’ll receive a welcome email next week giving you all the details you need, and access to the Facebook group where we’ll host Prayer Club. Don’t forget to fill out the form. It’s the only way we have to know you’re signed up, and contact you with details!
That’s it! We can’t wait to get started and see how God moves as we spend 30 days intentionally praying for our children!
Hi there!
I was just reading about the PJJ and I was wondering what time the devotional will take place. I didn’t see a specific time or maybe I missed it because I’m tired, lol!
If you could let me know the time of day you would be meeting at, that would be great!
Thank you!
Jen
Hey Jen, thanks for asking! We haven’t worked out those exact details yet, but my guess is that the discussion posts for each day will go live in the morning (EST). We will be going live in the group 1-2 times a week as well, and those will probably take place during the lunch hour (EST). All that said, everything will be there in the FB group when you’re ready for it, whether you get to participate live or not. Hope this helps!
It will an awesome month of Joy
I’m excited about this prayer club, however I no longer am on fb. That’s one of those vices the Lord has called me to let go of and I’ve been fb free since October 31, 2021 and have no intentions of returning. I know this is a fb ran group, but I’m wondering if you will be sending info via email as well? I’ve also thought about hosting my own prayer club here at my home for close friends and family so I will be connected with others that way and I know we can all use it here locally. I actually found you on the you version app. And did your 5 day devotional when i was very sick for the whole month of January and it’s what pulled me through. Thank you for sharing this JOY with us.
Hey Spring! I think this is a GREAT idea, and you’re not the only person who has decided to host a prayer club in their own home. I’m going to try to pull together some ideas for those who want to do that and post them here on the blog within the next week or so. Watch for it please!
Hi !! I would love to be part of the prayer group but unfortunately I am not on Facebook . Will it be available in any other place? I love the book❤️❤️ I also did the Bible app devotional loved it 🙏🏻❤️❤️
Not right now, Ana, and I apologize. I know some people hate FB, but it continues to be one of the best places to create online community. If this changes in the future, we’ll make an announcement!
So am I understanding that we cannot participate unless we are on Fb? If that is the case then I will not be able to participate…please let me know as I would love to be involved. Thank you
For right now, that’s correct. Facebook remains the best way we can create community where we can grow together and get to know each other. This Prayer Club is just that…a club. It isn’t meant to be done individually. We hope you’ll join us sometimes in the future!
