“If what I believe, and what the Word of God says is true are two different things, I’m wrong.”
I wrote those words for the first time several years ago now, but they’re still the words I choose to live by. I know the world wants our kids to believe that “their truth” is the highest truth, but as Christians, if we believe the Word of God is true, we simply have to submit to a higher standard. John 8:32 says, “You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free,” but we can’t be set free if what we believe isn’t true.
My prayer for my children (and yours) is that they will choose to believe what Bible says is true, and let it be their compass, and what they measure all other things against, as they navigate the happy and hard places of life.
