In the times when my heart just doesn’t know what to pray, I often find myself simply saying, “Jesus.”
It’s my comfort, and my prayer of comfort for others.
It’s my peace, and my prayer of peace for others.
It’s my strength, and my prayer of strength for others.
It’s my hiding place, and my prayer asking refuge for others.
I’ve been praying it a lot lately.
“Jesus, Jesus, Jesus; there’s just something about that name.
Master, Savior, Jesus, like the fragrance after the rain;
Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, let all Heaven and earth proclaim
Kings and kingdoms will all pass away,
But there’s something about that name.”
If someone you love needs prayer today, tag them in the comments so they see this reminder, and know that Jesus is still the Name above all names, even and especially in their situation.
